Howard Barouxis helps his clients understand franchising and choose the right business model for their skills, goals, and financial aspirations. After a long career in corporate life and business development, he left the workforce, bought a franchise, and built a path to financial independence. Now, he shares what he learned with others who want to make that same transition from being W2 employees to business owners.

HQ Franchises was created to help individuals make the leap into franchising with confidence. The franchising landscape can be complex, with thousands of opportunities and varying levels of risk, investment, and profitability. Howard guides his clients through the process, helping them assess business models, financing options, scalability, and lifestyle alignment. He ensures they make informed decisions and his goal is to match each client with a franchise that suits their strengths and long-term objectives. HQ Franchises is a member of the Franchise Brokers Association. Howard carefully chose the FBA after evaluating multiple franchise organizations. He wanted to align HQ Franchises with a group that offers the best tools, research, and opportunities for his clients. The FBA provides extensive due diligence, allowing Howard to help clients navigate franchising with insights that go beyond surface-level information.

Before franchising, Howard spent years helping businesses grow by leveraging technology. He worked in digital video processing and transport for more than 20 years, serving companies at the forefront of their industries. His experience includes leadership roles at Siemens, Technicolor, Thales, and several agile start-ups. He worked closely with major clients, including AT&T, DirecTV, ESPN, CNN, Turner, Disney, ABC, Televisa, and TV Azteca. As a franchisee owner-operator at Valenta, Howard focused on process consulting, digital transformation, and outsourcing. He helped businesses improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability. His experience optimizing operations gives him a unique perspective when advising clients on franchise opportunities. He understands the importance of selecting a business with strong systems, operational support, and a scalable model.

Howard has more than 30 years of leadership and business development experience. He holds an MBA in Finance from Western New England University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from American International College.
